Franklin and Marshall College

Franklin and Marshall College started its activity in 1787, after Benjamin Franklin donated only 200 English pounds to establish the school. It was the first institution open both to men and women and the first bilingual school, providing education both in English and German. Since then, the institution, thanks to its modern facilities, has grown into one of the most reputable liberal arts colleges in the country, focusing on innovations and research.
