American Museum of Natural History is a delightful natural history museum nestled on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York City. Built in 1869, it consists of 26 interconnected constructions that house 45 permanent exhibition halls, as well as a library and a planetarium. Over 34 million specimens of plants, animals, human cultural artifacts, fossils, minerals, rocks, and meteorites are housed in the museum's collections.
