Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston

1 Faneuil Hall Sq Quincy Market

Faneuil Hall Marketplace

Faneuil Hall Marketplace covers three historic market buildings with many shops and diners and a splendid promenade. It constitutes part of the Boston National Historical Park and a renowned stop on the Freedom Trail. Even though it is sometimes called "the Cradle of Liberty," the structure and location are affiliated with slavery. The marketplace serves as an indoor and outdoor mall and dining area. It consists of three historic constructions - North Market, South Market, and Quincy Market - adjoining to the east of Faneuil Hall.
