Jack London Square
Jack London Square, managed by the Port of Oakland, is named after the famed author Jack London, who spent much of his childhood in the area. Don’t hesitate to visit the square to admire a bronze statue of Jack London by artist Cedric Wentworth. In addition, the place is abundant with attractions—the cabin where Jack London lived in the Klondike, a San Francisco Bay Ferry ferry dock, and the historic Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon, as well as a movie theater, stores, and restaurants, are at your service.
